His love for competition started with professional soccer and moved to Formula One and Moto GP. He has worked with some of the most prestigious brands in the automotive industry (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati), researching cutting-edge technologies and materials. Moving from the racetrack to the operating room, was a short step for continued innovation. The medical device field became the perfect environment for creativity, transferring know-how collected in different fields, and positively impacting the lives of patients and athletes around the globe.

John Winslow has an extensive background in medical device and orthopedic business development in both U.S. and international markets. With leadership positions at Johnson and Johnson, Maxxim Medical and DJO Surgical he brings a wealth of experience and talent in multi-cultural business management and leadership. He was a key member of the team that built Maxxim Medical from a twelve million dollar startup to a billion dollar company in less than seven years. With a strong entrepreneurial background coupled with global business experience John is one of the founders of Alyve Medical and is a member of the board.

Andy has 30 years of experience in various business roles in orthopaedic and sports medicine. Before joining the Alyve Medical team, Andy ran a successful Medical Device Consultancy based in the UK, developing comprehensive roadmaps for Medical Device and Tissue suppliers in a variety of medical specialities, seeking to improve and bolster market adoption, channel partnerships and long-term strategic relationships In Europe and beyond.

Previous experience includes a decade running the Middle East region for Zimmer and the newly formed Linvatec, initially based in Saudi Arabia before moving to Dubai, subsequently transitioning to the same role with Conmed following the acquisition of the sports medicine portfolio.

In the past 15 years, as entrepreneur and investor, Carlo has co-founded and supported EU and USA based startups and scaleups in healthcare and ICT to become leaders in their markets and generate successful exits. His previous experience includes positions at Bain & Company as strategy and management consultant and at Pirelli Optical Technologies (now Oclaro Inc.) as R&D Manager.

Carlo holds an MBA from INSEAD (France) and a PhD in laser science from the University of Pavia (Italy) and ETH Zuerich (Switzerland).
